Head Full of Snakes is a yearly "motorcycle" publication that is handcrafted and beautifully designed and authentic. So much so it's like something I could find in a box of 1970's magazines in my Uncle's shed, it even smells like it too.
I was pretty stoked to have a photo essay included in the new issue on a trip to Japan where along with various tattoo artists I photographed a motorcycle shop called Brat Style.
I was interviewed by Stuart Geddes for the intro, which the start reads "Nicole Reed is a busy photographer. And a nice one"... I liked this a lot!
Go buy it at www.headfullofsnakes.com/, (Issue 1 sold out so be quick) and keep up to date with the blog at headfullofsnakes.blogspot.com.au/.
My friend Matt has recently started his own company called Ray Steels and I did some promo shots with him last week. He is making beautiful leather aprons that are aimed at tattooers, barbers and baristas and feature custom lining. The aprons are soft and really comfortable, and pretty damn sexy too!
