Last week I went along and took a few photos of my friend Rhys Gordon who took home the last remaining sections of the interior of Dominic's, a barber who has been on Bondi Road in Sydney for over 30 years. Dominic recently decided it was time to move on from the shop and work from home. It really was the end of an era.

Mine
A huge thanks to Mick from Blackwater for taking me out on a quick tour of a coal mine. I really felt like I could have been on another planet. These photos don't do any justice to the scale of the vehicles and machinery that I saw and the vastness of the mine.

Gateway to the World Eritrean Cafe
This months Gateway Cafe and Cultural day was hosted by the Eritrean Community at the Flemmington Community Center.
I have to admit that I had never heard of Eritrea before, but after spending the day photographing the community I learned quite a bit about the politican and human rights conditions of the country which is situated in the Horn of Africa.
It was a colourful occasion including dancing and a wonderful Eritrean meal and the coffee spiced with ginger was amazing!
